Larry was awesome to work with. My wife and I sold everything in the United states and moved to Costa Rica. We found a few houses we wanted to look at and Larry was happy to pick us up (we didn’t even have a car yet) and tour us around. Everywhere we went, everyone knew Larry and you could tell he was a big part of the community. We found a house we loved and Larry and his associates made the whole process very smooth and easy (Easier than buying in the states IMO). A little over a year ago, I was faced with the dilemma of how to sell land I had purchased in Avellanas in 2011. It had been controlled by an option to purchase agreement but when the option expired in April of 2020 the owner of the option was unable to exercise it. This led me to contact Larry Graziano who walked me through a number of options but it was also at a time when Covid had just hit and the real-estate industry was facing a great deal of uncertainty. With no pressure to list my land with his office, Larry advised me to utilize my existing contacts to try and sell the land on my own and if unable to do so then he would welcome the listing. But Larry's advice and acumen of the local real-estate market didn't stop there because as I worked through the process of updating the deed to my land, it became necessary, on a number of occasions, to have a representative meet at the site with local utility companies. With no commitment from me to sign a listing , Larry offered to make himself available to meet with the utility employees just to help me out. As it turned out, I was able to sell my property on my own but had that sale not gone through, I was ready to enlist Larry's services because of his knowledge of the local market, his integrity with the advice he had given me and the trust he had earned. If you are a person looking to sell a property or buy a property in Costa Rica, I don't think you can do better or feel more secure than dealing with a person like Larry Graziano. Dan McLaughlin
